Hi All!!!
Cara here, adding to the blog while Connie is busy with some personal stuff. We got our patches in, and
they look nice! Will be adding them to the store page soon and adding a new poll to let everyone decide what price they should
be put at.
Also added to the site recently is a Club Meet page, where all of our club meets for the rest of the
year are listed. Check out the new ads in the Poultry Press...one in the classified section and also one advertising twhere
our clubs Nationals will be this year!
I added a new file to the yahoo site, which is a page that people can access
to e-mail to the show secretaries for the shows we attend. It is just the Logo, and the Membership information to be added
to the shows Showbooks. I am working on an updated version of the show report form, going off of another one that is
a pretty good one. Will add that as soon as I can. Everyone have a nice weekend!!!

Hello! We have another member biography for Cindy Hansberger in NC of Blue Mountain Poultry. She is our State Rep. and we hope
you enjoy the reading & pictures! Members have made a choice for the patch company this weekend so we will get those
ordered up right away. Still checking out sources for awards and club clothing. Made up a Silkie pullet & maze off
of our logo for the kids to do at shows this weekend. And we got the member cards made and ready to mail out Monday. Cara
is working on some awards & fundraising projects. Had some new members join us this last week, WELCOME!

Hello and welcome to our site!
This club was a idea started in 2006 and finally breathed to life by January of 2007. As the months went on more
and more people have joined and brought with them the excitement of starting something both positive and rewarding for those
interested in the Bantam Silkie!
Members of this club are people raising Silkies for Showing/Exhibition and
raising them according to the APA breed standard. We also encourage working on developing new varieties for the
future. We participate in phone chats to get to know each other, share tips, ideas, and exchange show quality stock among
the members to allow more people to learn to breed an promote top notch birds around the country.
We strongly
encourage all Juniors into our club, who wish to learn more about raising Silkies for Exhibition/Show purposes. We are setting
up a Junior program to teach and mentor all youth into raising the best silkies they can! They even have their own Yahoo
group just for them to make friends, share pictures, and learn together!
Adult membership is by invitation
only. If you are interested in learning how to become a member please contact one of the club representatives to assist you.
