Mike & Deborah Lee of TN have braved the winter to attend the Northeast Georgia Poultry Fanciers Association 2nd Annual All Breed Show. They said there as approx. 1200 entries and 100 participants!
Only 10 Silkies were shown; 3 white and 7 buff.

Deborah & Mike had BV RB win with a Buff Hen, and a 1st with a white cock & 1st with a buff pullet.

At the Lawerenceberg TN show they took Champion Featherleg, BB, BV with this Buff Hen!

Showgirls!
MI State and Dist 5 Rep. David Swartz breeds showgirls and did very well at the Ohio Nationals this last Oct. at the clubs Eastern Nationals!
He took both BV and RV!

Cara in CO has had a terrific winter!
Just wanted to brag that I went to the National Western Stock Show this past weekend and I had the most amazing time and won my FIRST (Hopefully of many more to come ) Grand Champion of Show! My White Silkie Pullet, Daisy, who I might add is only 7 months old, won over 533 birds in Show! There were 114 Feather legs in her class and over 230+ Bantams. We won ribbons for 1st of pullets, BB, Class Champion, a certificate for Champion of Show from the APA, with a pin for me, cash totaling $105 and a nice bronze western statue..I know, its not a chicken. Silkies are winning again and again folks!

The gray pullet won Best Variety, owned by Gavin Livinston!

This beauty won BV, BB, Champion Featherleg, Champion Bantam, and CHAMPION OF THE SHOW with the white pullet! Yahoo Gavin!

Gavin also took BV, BB, Champion Featherleg, Reserve Champion Bantam, and Reserve Champion of Show in the Junior Show with this white pullet!

This black pullet owned also by Gavin went BV!
